Zion Hendrix brings a winning pedigree and a deep passion for player development to the X Factor team, which he joined in Fall 2024. A proud X Factor alum himself, Zion knows firsthand the impact the program has on developing players.
At the collegiate level, Zion etched his name in the record books at Worcester State University, becoming the winningest player in program history. A three-year starter and captain, he led the Lancers to back-to-back MASCAC Championships, demonstrating the leadership and competitive drive that define his approach to the game.
Before his collegiate career, Zion made his mark at Cannon School, a basketball powerhouse in North Carolina, where he was a four-year starter and earned the title of all-time assists leader. His standout play earned him all-conference honors and set the stage for his successful college career.
Now, Zion channels that championship experience into coaching, currently serving as an Assistant Coach and Head of Player Development at Nichols College. He has worked with players from the youth ranks all the way up to the professional level. He now brings that level of commitment X Factor, helping players of all ages and skill levels elevate their game.
